I love descriptive novels that give me a visual picture of the settings. Annell was very successful in this. She also used historical buildings which was very interesting. We were able to FaceTime with her and ask questions about her characters and the ideas she portrayed. It’s a book about discovery, friendship, and love. There are powerful quotes in the book well worth a discussion!
Vivid descriptions of Nashville in the 1960’s and 70’s and young Georgia Ayres as she struggles with fear of change and her own vulnerability make this an insightful and enjoyable book to read.
