"A mystery with complex and surprising relationships in a British secondary school" by Suzhou93 (see profile) 10/19/07

Interesting twists and fully developed characters with a depth that I would not have expected in a mystery.

"The revenge one seeks at being left at the door without being let in." by Snuzaroo (see profile) 01/14/08

Lots of twist and turns and unexpected endings. Like the way Ms Harris set up the novel using the chapters as Chess pieces. A very Gentlemen and players type of game and novel

"Pretty good story, but not partucularly mezmerizing" by ellentambo (see profile) 10/14/08

I had a difficult time staying interested. It kept jumping from past to present and it was sometimes difficult to tell when it did that mid-chapter, and who was who in the present and past (since the main character changes his name). Might be good to discuss classes in society, etc.

"Slow start, surprising end" by idavaa (see profile) 04/16/12

The book started slowly, but as the story unfolded I had to keep reading and the surprising and clever end made it worth the read.
