This was a really good book, the story line was really interesting and it was definitely a page turner, I will most definitely read this series. I do not really feel that it was a very good book club choice, it was a Mystery but you know who the bad guy was pretty much from the beginning, the end has a fabulous twist, which I love. The book is excellent and the author is very talented, but this is just not a book that will allow for a great discussion.
The basic plot is a blind girl who has the ability to see the last 18 seconds of the deceased persons life before their death, just by touching them. This interweaves with the life of a police lt. Kelly O'shaunessy, and a mentally challenged young man (a good guy), a serial killer and a few other characters. Who all come together and are linked indirectly to each other. Great book- not a real lively discussion.

I found the blind psychic's ability to "see" a dead person's last memories before dying to be a great twist! I hope to see Sherry in more of Shuman's books.
