My book club loved On Beauty. All of the characters are infuriating, thought provoking, and you find yourself relating to each of them despite their many, many flaws.

Our book club had mixed reviews with half happy they read it and the other half happy to be done. It was too long and boring for me and I found that the I didn't like any of the characters very much and thus didn't really care what happened to any of them.
