A wonderfully addictive story about a strong woman, a family, a people and the love that binds us all to each other. It is very well written and so easy to read. I can't to continue the journey with the next books! Best of all it's based on a true journey.

A well written book. Highly researched for historical accuracy. Beautifully developed characters convey the resolve of this Filipino family to survive. Great read.
