I was very apprehensive when this book was picked for our book club. I don\\\'t like horror books and really dislike vampire type books. But I loaded on my Kindle and took it to work with me and read during break time. I found I couldn\\\'t put it down. I loved the interviews and the fact that they remained factual, not gory or sensationalized. It reminded me of the quote \\\"just the facts ma\\\'am, just the facts.\\\"

I am not a fan of zombies so I was surprised at how much I enjoyed this, probably because the zombies actually never make a real appearance. Brooks does an excellent job making fiction feel like non-fiction.
