The primary characters are somewhat unpleasant with continued complaints of their life. Did provoke discussion regarding switching one\'s life but other characters were left undeveloped.

The book\\\'s premise starts simple enough: husband finds letter in book that may be a love note from his wife...to another man. From there, the author takes you down avenues discussing topics of Arab identity in Israel, the have vs. the have-nots in terms of social status, love, cultural and familial expectation and what it is to escape our identities, if that\\\'s even possible. But in all of that, there is still the simply written story of a man trying to deal with the idea that his wife would ever cheat on him.
