A good book. A fast read, could not put it down. Ending was short and could have had more detail.
This book takes every woman's nightmare of being kidnapped and turns it into a believable and haunting story.
"Still Missing" is an incredible debut psychological thriller by Chevy Stevens - Suspense with a capital "S". Some of the content is disturbing but so riveting that you find yourself totally absorbed from the first page. Great read and I'm looking forward to reading future novels from Ms. Stevens.
Great read! Very well-written, I like the method used to tell the story. Good job Chevy! :-)
I am new to reading and have joined a book club with old friends from high school. It takes A LOT to hold my attention! This book definitely did that, and I appreciated that it was relatively short and didn't drag on. I was GLUED to it, which is something I don't say very often. Some of the ladies were a little disturbed by it, but several of us thought it was great!
This is the first book I have ever reviewed, but I was compelled this time because other readers need to know how awesome this book is! I couldn't put it down!
This book had me at the edge of my seat the whole time. I can't say too much with out giving it away but... I did not see the end coming!
This book will grab you from the start and keep you hooked. What was most interesting for me was the mental toughness the main character had to have to get one step ahead of the man who abducted her and how it changed her forever. Will leave you wondering whether you could have done what she did and what you might have done differently.
This may not have been the best book pick for our club that is filled with Realtors; however it did allow for good character discussion and review of safety techniques.
This is one you will not be able to put down ! From beginning to end, it tests every emotion you have !! I highly recommend !
This book was a great read and provoked a lot of discussion in our book club. I started it and couldn't put it down. I would definitely recommend this one!
The first part of "Still Missing" is interesting, seeing how one person reacts to being held captive by a lunatic. Also, the narrative device of a person talking to a psychologist is effective and interesting. However, the resolution of the mystery in the last part of the book is unsatisfying because it's just too unlikely to believe it, given what we know about the person who turns out to be the mastermind of the abduction. Read it, yes, but there are better books for book clubs.
This book was very interesting. As usual I worried about the characters.
This is my all time favorite psychological suspense novel to date! I recommend this book to everyone!
