This was one of my favorite book club reads. It's so nice to read a classic for a change of pace. This book has a strong female character that was uncharacteristic for women during that time period. I hadn't seen the movie, which made it more enjoyable for me.

Jane Austen is a wonderful author and this book is one that should be read. Emma is a real treat.
