Another excellent book by Isabel Allende

This is a brilliant description of one teenager's journey from a loving home to addiction to finding her own personal loving home and her preparation for living a full life. Isabel Allende artfully weaves all of her story together into an addictive read.

Allende gives an authentic voice to a very troubled teenager and some detailed descriptions of the hazards teens face today. There were a multitude of interesting characters - each one might be worthy of a book.
