Looked for a non fiction read and this was tough for most of us as we wanted to learn more about the wolf culture, the story of Romeo and not the repetitive style of the storytelling. The ending was grim as we all were waiting for it to be. It did lead to discussion of the encroachment of man into the natural world and the instinct that lies beneath most wild animals. We were all repulsed by the perpetrators. Recommended with reservation - not for everyone
