How to Invite Your Book Club Members to the Club Page

Once you’ve added your upcoming book selection & meeting date, you’ll want to send an email reminder to your members. right?

Because your page is private, you’ll need to email/text them your club’s invite url or your club’s PIN (for the app).

The app makes it super easy to invite your members:

Step 1: Scroll Down to the Members Section of the Book Club Screen

Step 2: Tap on Members

Step 3: On the Members Screen, Tap the + Sign

Step 4: Tap one of the icons to Share (Any icon will do…)

…Because this will bring up Apple’s full share options screen.  Select a method you’d like to use to share:

Option A)    Invite by Email:

Voila!  Here is a pre-written email for you, complete with a link to the app in the app store + Club PIN members enter on the sign up screen, or an invite URL for web users.

Add your member emails (iPhone will help you out with that one if they are in your address book) & any text you want & send.

 Option B)  Invite by Text:

Boom!  A Pre-written text ready for you to send to your members with link to the app with PIN & web invite URL for non-Apple device users.

Are you AT Book Club?

Invite by Airdrop & tell Them the PIN

This one’s a little  magical.

You can “beam” a link to the app to your members who have Apple devices.

First: Collectively, as a club, all Apple device members should swipe UP on their home screen & make sure you’re connected to WIFI, Bluetooth is on, and Airdrop is set to receive:

Select the people you want to Airdrop to…
abracadabra…
You’ve just airdropped a link to the app to their devices.

Pull up that invite screen again (Tap + on the members screen) and read them the PIN so they can add it to the Sign in Screen
